Ashland Independent Film Festival 2025

Taking place April 24th-27th


 AIFF returns to Ashland’s Historic Varsity Theatre with a curated selection of 15 features, two shorts programs and a special evening with celebrated local filmmakers to showcase their works in progress. While smaller in scale, each selection of our lineup is handpicked to deliver an unforgettable cinematic experience.






Please join us for 4 days packed with features, shorts, and programs including:


  • Opening Night Tribute to Catherine Coulson with Richard Greene’s I Know Catherine, the Log Lady and “Working with Catherine” TalkBack


  • Closing Night: An Evening with Bruce Campbell, Ida Gearon, and Gary and Annie Lundgren


  • Pride Award winner Sandi Dubowski with Sabbath Queen


  • Visionary Lens Award winner Brittany Shyne with Seeds and shorts


  • Featured Artist Skye Fitzgerald with The Humanitarian Trilogy, Tales from the Shortlist, and

“The Beauty of the Score” TalkBack


  • Lee Fuchsmann Award winner Chris Lucas with Raising Aniya


  • Director Kim Snyder with The Librarians and Death by Numbers (in Tales from the Shortlist)
